In this comprehensive workshop, the participants will learn about the needed essentials of working with the Mastercam  program, using Version X. Starting with simple step-by-step examples, and progressing into more advanced areas such as Solids Modeling and Surfaces. The workshop will also be useful for the Version 9 users

• Creating 2-Dimentional objects (lines, circles, etc.)

• Modifying objects (trimming, erasing, copying, etc.)

• Dimensioning and cross-hatching

• Creating complex 2D geometry

• Analyzing geometry components

• Object X-forming and Translating Procedures

•  Working with Materials Manager

• Creating New Machine Definitions

• Assigning the workpiece blanks and Safety Zones

• Creating simple toolpath operations

• Working with Pocket Milling

• Working with Centering operations (Drilling, Tapping, Etc.)

• Introduction to complex milling operations

• Introduction to Solids Modeling

• Creating complex Solids

• Machining Complex Solids

• Introduction to Surface Modeling

• Creating Revolved and Swept Geometry

• Creating Ruled Surfaces

• Working with complex Surfaces (Coon's Patches)

• Machining complex Surface geometry

• Generating and transmitting "G & M" Codes

• Working with Post-Processors

• Customizing Machine Options

• Toolpath Verification and Modification

• Converting from Autocad, Solidworks, Pro-Engineer,
  or other CAD / CAM programs

• Outputting MasterCAM geometry to other programs
